Defense Ministry on Border Situation

On March 14 and 15, no border incidents were recorded along the entire length of the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line at the state border of the Republic of Armenia. The operational and tactical situation has remained stable. This information was reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

“According to the information received from the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, no changes have been recorded in the situation in the section of the Goris-Kapan interstate highway from Vorotan to David Bek, which is under the responsibility of the NSS border troops. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and the NSS border troops are monitoring the border situation along the entire border line and are fulfilling the assigned tasks,” the statement said.
