Report on ‘HALO Trust’ Sent to Artsakh National Security Service
The Artsakh Prosecutor's Office reports that on March 11, a statement was disseminated by several media outlets from Boris Avagyan, the special representative of the President of Artsakh, claiming that the British non-governmental organization ‘HALO Trust,’ which has been engaged in charitable activities in Artsakh, transferred maps of minefields in the region to Turkish special services. This transfer allegedly enabled the successful navigation of the Artsakh Defense Army's mined defensive positions during the 44-day war.
The statement added, “The mentioned publication has today been forwarded by the Artsakh Prosecutor's Office to the National Security Service of Artsakh for discussion in accordance with the procedures established by the Artsakh Criminal Procedure legislation.”
It is noteworthy that ‘HALO Trust’ has denied the claims, stating that they did not provide maps of the minefields in Artsakh to Turkish special services.
