Yesterday, Nikol Pashinyan visited the Ministry of Defense and met with the senior military leadership. The official statement indicates that he held a consultation, but in reality, he simply shared his thoughts and left. According to expert circles, this meeting was merely a "staging" since Pashinyan needed footage showing high-ranking officers honoring him and warmly welcoming and sending him off.

Our sources report that organizing this meeting was not easy; the officers were asked to do a favor. "He will come, speak briefly, and leave," they were told. It is noteworthy that in his approximately 6-7 minute speech, Pashinyan used the word "together" nearly ten times. 'We are going through a tough trial together, we will overcome it together, we continue to bear joint responsibility, and so on.

One political technologist we spoke with stated that this was not accidental, and Pashinyan was sending a specific message to the generals.

As for the Chief of General Staff issue, the haze is becoming denser regarding Onik Gasparyan's dismissal (he has appealed to the administrative court), and even more so concerning the appointment of a new chief. It should also be noted that yesterday, before the aforementioned meeting, the leadership of the RA Armed Forces made an additional statement, indicating that they "join General Lieutenant Onik Gasparyan's address and confirm the assessments given so far regarding the current situation in the Republic."
