Turkey's Foreign Minister: Our Door is Open to Armenia as Well
During his visit to Kyrgyzstan, Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with students at the Turkish-Kyrgyz Manas University and delivered a speech, according to Ermenihaber.am.
In his address, Çavuşoğlu did not shy away from discussing regional developments, particularly regarding the situation in Artsakh. He noted that the Turkic world is closely monitoring Azerbaijan's reestablishment of control over Artsakh, adding, "In this struggle, we supported Azerbaijan not only because of fraternal ties but also because of its just and legitimate stance. Now it is possible to change the fate of our region and establish permanent peace and stability in the Caucasus."
Addressing Armenia specifically, Turkey's Foreign Minister made the following remarks:
"Our door is open to all those who share the desire for permanent peace and stability in the Caucasus, including Armenia. We hope that our peoples, stretching from Europe to Asia, will work together for happiness and development. For a generation that fails to ensure cooperation, regardless of ethnicity, will pay the price together. That is why we say, 'Enough is enough.' Let’s look forward, move ahead, and be remembered in history for our successes."
