Major Car Accident in Yerevan: Deputy Police Chief Dies

On March 10, a 49-year-old resident of Yerevan, Artyom M., passed away in the intensive care unit of the "Mikaelyan" Medical Center. According to photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan, he had been transferred to the hospital on March 4.

On that day, around 00:05, Artyom M. collided with a parked KamAZ truck belonging to 47-year-old Arkadi A. from Goris while driving his Opel vehicle on Tbilisyan Highway, in front of house number 22.

Sources indicate that Artyom M. served in the Chief Directorate of Protection of the Republic of Armenia Police, holding the rank of deputy colonel.
