Fight Occurs Between Employee and Head of Surgical Department at 'Hrazdan' Medical Center, Gun Involved

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a brawl occurred in the Kotayk province a few days ago. The Hrazdan police department received operational information that on March 7, a conflict broke out at the 'Hripsime' banquet hall located in the Center neighborhood of Hrazdan city involving doctors.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, Hrazdan police determined that on that day, around 21:30, a dispute took place in the foyer of the second floor of the mentioned hall between 41-year-old Agasi Barseghyan, a resident of Hrazdan, and 51-year-old Ruben Vasilian, a resident of Yerevan, during which A. Barseghyan drew a gun from his waistband. However, the participants in the dispute managed to wrest it from his hands.

During the altercation, A. Barseghyan grabbed and then struck R. Vasilian several times on various parts of his body. According to G. Shamshyan, on March 10, Hrazdan police discovered A. Barseghyan at his home, from where he was taken to the Hrazdan police station. Subsequently, he presented to the police the 9mm gas pistol registered in his name of type 'PMR'.

According to reports, A. Barseghyan works as the head of the technical service department at the 'Hrazdan' medical center, while R. Vasilian is the head of the surgical department at the same medical center.
