Discussion on Gross Violations Against Displaced Citizens and Prisoners

On March 11, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, received a delegation led by Yeghishe Kirakosyan, the representative of the Republic of Armenia at the European Court of Human Rights.

During the meeting, they discussed the gross violations of rights against citizens displaced due to the war unleashed by Azerbaijan on September 27, 2020, and other related legal consequences concerning prisoners and other citizens. An agreement was reached to closely cooperate with the authorized state bodies of Artsakh to address these issues and ensure their proper investigation.
