30-Year-Old Man Hospitalized with 6 Stab Wounds

Yesterday, on March 10, a stabbing incident occurred in the Gegharkunik province. Around 22:00, the "Gavar" medical center notified the Gavar police department that a citizen had been admitted with "stab and cut wounds to various parts of the body."

Doctors at the hospital informed the police that the injured man was unable to provide an explanation of the events. While the medical staff fought for his life, officers from the Gegharkunik regional police and the Gavar police department identified the victim. He was identified as 30-year-old Vazgen S., a resident of the village of Ganjak.

Police also discovered that on the same day, around 21:00, a conflict had occurred in the village between Vazgen S. and his fellow villager, 23-year-old Hayrik E., during which the latter stabbed Vazgen S. six times with a knife he had on him. As a result of the police's investigative efforts, the suspect Hayrik E. voluntarily turned himself in to the Gavar police station today, March 11, at around 02:40, admitting his guilt.
