We Are in the Red Zone Regarding Coronavirus: This is Concerning, Minister

Parents who have lost their sons in the war can benefit from state support through reproductive assistance technologies. The government has approved this initiative. Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan mentioned this in an interview with "First News". She also added that there are already families who have applied to benefit from this support.

Regarding the process of identifying the remains of those killed in the war, the minister noted that the process is progressing rapidly, with 2028 identifications conducted in the last 2-3 months. According to the minister, there are a small number of samples that have been examined once and need to be tested again, as they have not yet been identified. Currently, 180 parents are waiting for identification.

Addressing the coronavirus situation, Avanesyan stated that the months of January and February were a relatively stable period. "Now we are seeing an increase in coronavirus infection rates. The percentage of positive tests is quite high. We are in the red zone regarding coronavirus, which is concerning," she said.
