The Government Has Never Been More Engaged with the Military in Armenia's History Than It Is Now, Says Arsen Torosyan

Arsen Torosyan, the Head of the Government Staff of the Republic of Armenia, addressed the recent controversial events surrounding the General Staff in an interview on Public Television. According to him, the "legal tangle" related to the General Staff is directly connected to domestic political processes.

"If there were no domestic political processes and the involvement of the Armed Forces in all this, we would not have such a multi-faceted analysis," Torosyan stated.

He announced that the military has always been among their priorities. "Both the actions of the government and the Prime Minister attest to this, including the encouragement, promotions, and appointments of numerous high-ranking military officials," emphasized the head of Pashinyan's staff.

During the broadcast, he stated, "Let it not seem immodest, but there has never been a government more engaged with the military in the history of Armenia than now."
