The Circumstances of Arman Babajanyan's Alert Have Been Sent to the Police: Human Rights Defender

Arman Babajanyan, a member of the National Assembly of Armenia, has addressed the Human Rights Defender, stating that he is receiving threats to his life, health, and physical safety from unknown phone numbers. This information has been reported from the Human Rights Defender's Facebook page.

“According to him, his phone number and home address have been circulated on social networks. Given that the alert pertains primarily to the rights of the MP's life, mental safety, and physical integrity, a written procedure has been initiated, and the details of Arman Babajanyan's alert have been officially sent to the Police of Armenia. As required by law, the actions of the police regarding the protection of Arman Babajanyan’s life, health, and safety will be under the attention of the Human Rights Defender,” the statement said.
