«Lawyers should go and arrest Nikol Pashinyan for selling the homeland and treason», says Saghatelyan
If the person sitting in the prime minister's chair continues to violate the country's Constitution, it is the natural right of the people to rebel against that government. This was stated by the coordinator of the Homeland Salvation Movement, member of the Supreme Body of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, during a conversation with reporters at the rally of the movement.
Journalists recalled that a criminal case had been initiated against the movement's prime ministerial candidate Vazgen Manukyan for such calls, to which Saghatelyan responded, "Are you trying to intimidate us with a criminal case while we are losing our homeland?" Saghatelyan noted that there are already four criminal cases against him, and one more will not change anything. "Lawyers should go and arrest Nikol Pashinyan for selling the homeland and treason," Saghatelyan said.
It should be reminded that a criminal case was initiated against Vazgen Manukyan on March 3 for public calls aimed at seizing power or violently overthrowing the constitutional order. On March 9, he was again charged under the same Article 301 of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
