I have information that very correct and direct words were said to Pashinyan at the General Staff: Ishkhan Saghatelyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan went to the General Staff to get a shot of military personnel bowing their heads in front of him. This was stated today, on March 10, during a conversation with journalists by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, the coordinator of the 'Homeland Salvation Movement' and a member of the ARF Bureau.
'If a person clinging to the prime minister's seat finds himself at the General Staff by virtue of his position, it does not mean that the Armed Forces fully accept him. According to my information, very correct and direct words were said to him at the General Staff. He went to the General Staff to get the shot of military personnel bowing their heads before him. He received that scene. Many were discouraged; some members of his team have already started to panic, thinking that the issue is resolved.'
'In my opinion, the Armed Forces also demonstrated through their statement that they reject that person and confirmed that he must leave. There will be those who break in this struggle, it is not about the army; there will be those who surrender, there will be those who go astray, but my party and I do not belong to that group,' Saghatelyan stated.
It should be noted that today, on March 10, Nikol Pashinyan met with the commanding staff of the Armed Forces. Onik Gasparyan did not participate in the meeting. Sitting next to Pashinyan was Artak Davtyan, whose appointment as Chief of the General Staff was proposed by Pashinyan to the President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian.
