Attempt to Set Fire to 'Gyumri Maternity Hospital'

In the Mush division of the Gyumri police, materials are being prepared regarding an extraordinary incident that took place on March 6 in Shirak province. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, at approximately 02:15, a call was received at the Gyumri division of the RA police's public security service indicating that there was an emergency alarm at the 'Gyumri Maternity Hospital' LLP located on Koshtoyan street.

The police's patrol group from the Mush division promptly arrived at the scene, where the director of the maternity hospital, Edgar Sukiasyan, reported that around 02:00, a citizen had entered the hospital and poured gasoline from a plastic container in the corridor and set it on fire.

Fortunately, the resulting fire did not spread and was extinguished in a short time. According to G. Shamshyan's information, the Mush police have identified that the citizen is a 34-year-old resident of Gyumri, named Armen M., who has been located and taken to the Mush police department.
