Aliyev Again Speaks About the Opening of the ‘Zangezur Corridor’

The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has now become part of history; it has been resolved and concluded. This statement was made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a meeting with Akif Cagatay Kilic, the head of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Turkish Parliament, according to Trend.

“Today, a new situation and new reality have formed in our region. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has become part of history; it has been resolved and concluded. Today, we must look to the future and think about cooperation in the region. In particular, the implementation of transport projects and the opening of the Zangezur corridor is one of the most important issues. I am confident that together we will achieve this as well. Once again, I warmly welcome you. Welcome!” Aliyev stated.

It's worth noting that earlier, the spokesperson for Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Mane Gevorgyan, announced that the regional unblocking agreements reached between the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan did not include discussions about any “corridor.”
