180 Parents Await Identification of Remains, Says Anahit Avanesyan
In an interview with Armenian news outlet "First News," Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan addressed the process of identifying the remains of those who lost their lives in the war, stating that the process is progressing rapidly, with 2028 identifications completed in the last 2-3 months.
The minister noted that there are a small number of samples that, after initially being tested, will need to undergo further examination as they have not yet been identified. According to the minister, 180 parents are currently waiting for identifications.
"Research is conducted 24 hours a day for 7 days a week. There are no reasons for delays. The process will not take long. In fact, even within this month, as a result of several repeated tests, we will have very few samples that may be impossible to examine in any way," she said.
