Vahram Baghdasaryan Exits Meeting with President: Discussions on Onik Gasparyan's Issue

President Armen Sarkissian promised to consider and inform about his decision before the end of the legally stipulated day, said Vahram Baghdasaryan of the Republican Party of Armenia during a conversation with journalists, sharing details from his meeting with the president.

According to him, the president did not say that he would not send a request to the Constitutional Court; he simply has some clarifications to make.

When asked how he assesses the president's actions, Vahram Baghdasaryan responded that he would provide his assessment after the legally established deadline.

“We are patiently waiting,” said the former MP.

Baghdasaryan mentioned that President Sarkissian stated he must do everything to avoid shocks. “He said, ‘I need to talk to all sides,’ that’s why he has time,” V. Baghdasaryan said.

In response to the remark that they elected Armen Sarkissian as president, the former MP replied: “We did not elect him to be inactive; we elected him to work.”
