National Assembly member Vahagn Tevosyan submits resignation and is appointed to another position

The announcement from the Speaker of the National Assembly regarding the resignation application of MP Vahagn Tevosyan:

In accordance with Part 1 of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law on the Rules of the National Assembly, MP Vahagn Tevosyan submitted his resignation application on March 9.

According to Part 2 of Article 155, if the MP withdraws his resignation in writing within a week after the announcement of resignation, the Speaker of the National Assembly will make a statement regarding this. If the resignation is not withdrawn, a record regarding the cessation of his powers will be prepared and signed by the Speaker of the National Assembly.

From the moment of the publication of the record, the resignation is considered accepted. This information is provided on the official website of the National Assembly.

It is noteworthy that Vahagn Tevosyan has been appointed as a member of the Public Television Council.
