Ara Sahakyan Addresses Colleagues Collaborating with Current Authorities

"Boys, what has happened to you? We have traveled a serious road, served the state, and served the national interest. Whom are you serving now?" This was stated by Ara Sahakyan, former head of the staff of the National Assembly of Armenia, during a rally of the 'Homeland Salvation Movement,' addressing his colleagues who continue to collaborate with the current authorities.

"We, those of us standing here and a large part of the people, know very well whom we are fighting against and for what. Who are you protecting? Colleagues involved in the diplomatic service, we have come a long way, we have repressed and eliminated the enemy at a moment of taking them out of their holes, from the European Court of Human Rights to the United Nations, from negotiations to informational warfare," Sahakyan noted, adding whether they even ask themselves whom they serve and for what, why they are silent, cling to positions, or expect that the foolish clown will suddenly wake up one morning and dismiss them for having laughed at his latest idiocy.

Sahakyan also addressed police officers, stating that when they drag people away after rallies, who are they serving, and why are they doing this? "He fills hundreds of you by buses near government buildings so he can take a few steps through this city, and then pays a salary of just 100-120 drams, while his teammates, the politicians who are looting the public's money with huge bonuses, were even taking daily allowances and fuel expenses from the state budget to go to Artsakh during the war," Sahakyan told the police, adding that he understands they are compelled to protect that idiot due to extreme life circumstances, debts, and problems, and after work, they are forced to drive taxis or do manual labor, but wasn't he the one who promised that they wouldn't have to drive taxis or be engaged in construction work, yet he deceived them and will continue to deceive them as long as they protect him.
