All Streets in Yerevan Will Be Regularly and Permanently Blocked, Says Zohrebeyan

All streets in Yerevan, Armenia will be regularly and permanently blocked. This was stated today, on March 9, during an opposition rally on Demirchyan Street by the member of the Prosperous Armenia faction, Naira Zohrebeyan.

“There is no resolution to this situation until Nikol Pashinyan understands that he is solely responsible for any worst-case developments. Today, the president appeared in a position worse than an observer, unable to find political responsibility or manliness within himself and refraining from becoming Nikol's puppet. From this moment, he is complicit in treason. From now on, Armen Sarkissian's hands are stained with the blood of 5,000 soldiers,” she stated, adding that if the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party, Gagik Tsarukyan, meets with Nikol Pashinyan, it will not be done behind the people's back.

“Nikol Pashinyan cannot impose his agenda on us,” she said.

It is worth noting that today, during a rally on Baghramyan Avenue, Vazgen Manukyan, the prime ministerial candidate of the 'Homeland Salvation Movement', called on attendees to block the entrances to the National Assembly so that lawmakers could not enter or exit the building. Following his remarks, the gathered crowd moved towards the entrances of the National Assembly. The police were unable to stop them.
