Traffic Obstruction in Dilijan Tunnel Due to Truck Trailer Breakdown

A traffic obstruction has occurred in the Dilijan tunnel due to a malfunction of a trailer. The information was provided by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure’s Road Department. The staff of the company servicing the tunnel is conducting traffic management operations until the issue is resolved. Drivers are advised to remain vigilant in the area and adhere to traffic rules.

Earlier, the Road Department had reported that as of March 8 at 10:30 AM, light snowfall was observed in the regions of Talin, Artik, Akhuryan, Ashotsk, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Ijevan, Novemberyan, Berd, Tumanyan, Spitak, Dilijan, Gavar, Aparam, Vanadzor, and Tashir. The Dilijan serpentine and Vardenyats pass are closed to vehicles with trailers. In the Goris region, fog has reduced visibility to 30 meters. Other inter-state and republican roads remain open.
