Artsakh President Addresses Rumors Surrounding Red Market
During the war, the adversary tried by all means to seize the village of Red Market in the Martuni region. Artsakh Republic President Araik Harutyunyan made this statement during a meeting with the residents of the rural community of Red Market, addressing various rumors circulating in connection with this issue.
“Thanks to our heroic boys and you, we have managed to preserve the village. During negotiations, for a long time, they made every effort to force us to surrender Red Market. However, I have said: forget about Red Market. Furthermore, the Minister of Urban Development will receive instructions to involve additional forces in the village to activate construction works,” said the President of the Artsakh Republic.
“The most difficult situations are in Taghavard and Red Market after the war, but we have not lost hope; on the contrary, we are the first to start construction here. In the next three years, we must resolve the housing issue for the displaced, and then for those who have no homes. We plan to build 140-150 private houses in Red Market. This work must be carried out with our own efforts. Therefore, direct your efforts towards forming construction brigades,” the President emphasized.
