BHK to Convene Political Council Meeting in Coming Days, Discuss Prime Minister's Proposal, Enfiadjian
During a rally of the "Homeland Salvation Movement" on Baghramyan Avenue, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Vahe Enfiadjian stated in an interview with "Factinfo" that the "Prosperous Armenia" party will convene a meeting of its political council in the coming days. They will discuss internal political issues, including the Prime Minister's proposal regarding meeting with him and conducting snap elections.
When asked about the lack of positions within the faction regarding readiness to go for elections, Enfiadjian noted that opinions will be expressed after the meeting. He mentioned, "Since there may be individual opinions, but the political council has not gathered as a whole, and separate views and analyses have not been discussed, I believe that representatives of the political council or representatives of the 'Prosperous Armenia' faction cannot express an opinion today."
Enfiadjian also stated that opposition forces will carry out all actions and political measures that do not contradict the law, to change the current situation. Regarding the alert from the deputy mayor of Goris that Azerbaijanis are digging trenches in Shurnukh, Enfiadjian pointed out that members of the faction often visit Syunik and implement various projects. He considers the situation in Syunik to be concerning, to say the least. "There is anarchy and lawlessness prevailing," Enfiadjian concluded.
