Publicly refute your statement that does not correspond to reality: Syunik Provincial Administration to Naira Zohrabyan
The Syunik Provincial Administration has issued a statement addressed to RA National Assembly Member Naira Zohrabyan:
Dear Ms. Zohrabyan, during your press briefing on March 2, you stated that "a female employee of the Syunik Provincial Administration called you and said that you are being forced to come and not only bring your relatives with you but also participate in the rally to be held on March 1 at the Republic Square in the capital." Allegedly, the caller said, "Don’t worry, we are coming using the transportation provided, but we will join a different rally."
Ms. Zohrabyan, in trying to understand the reasons for your statement, we conclude that either someone indeed contacted you and provided deliberately false information, which you then publicized, or you are distorting reality and making statements about non-existent facts.
We declare with full responsibility that no employee of the Syunik Provincial Administration received any directive to participate in the rally that day, and the administration did not provide any transportation for that purpose. Employees and their relatives did not travel to Yerevan for that reason, and the administration's employees were not absent from work on March 1 for that purpose.
Therefore, we demand that either you provide the name and phone number to prove your statements so that we can verify who called you and who defamed the administration (of course, please submit personal data to us as non-public), or publicly refute your statement that does not correspond to reality.
If our call remains unanswered, the matter will receive a legal assessment.
