Prime Minister to Meet with Prosperous Armenia Faction Leader: Makunts

The Prime Minister is set to meet with the leader of the Prosperous Armenia faction. This was announced to reporters at the National Assembly by Lilit Makunts, the head of the My Step faction, who emphasized that an invitation has been sent, although she is not aware of the details for the upcoming meeting.

When asked if there will be a second round of negotiations, Makunts suggested that it is best not to get ahead of ourselves for now and to wait for the outcomes of the second round. She stated, “After that, we will discuss our steps.”

It is noteworthy that earlier today, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the leader of the Bright Armenia party, Edmon Marukyan, where they discussed the timing of upcoming snap elections and addressed the ongoing processes related to the Chief of the General Staff.

Marukyan also conveyed that there needs to be a consensus among three parliamentary forces regarding the snap elections.
