I Will Not Establish a Political Party, Although I Do Not Exclude That Possibility: Kocharian

The second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, announced that he does not intend to establish his own political party. He made this statement during a press conference held for Russian media, responding to a question from Sputnik Armenia.

"I am not perceived as a party leader. I probably will not create a political party, although I do not rule out that option. There might be political parties that will cooperate with me during potential elections," he stated.

He cited the years of his presidency as an example, recalling that there was a coalition in parliament during which the country experienced significant economic achievements.

Commenting on the ongoing opposition protests, he called on his supporters to participate in them.
