Azerbaijani Side Conducts Security Measures at Deployment Sites, Says Armenia's NSS
The Azerbaijani side is conducting security measures at their deployment sites, according to a statement from Armenia's National Security Service (NSS) to 168.am. This comes in response to queries regarding the enemy's trench digging in Vorotan.
The newspaper reports that despite an agreement to secure the Goris-Vorotan-Shurnukh road with border guards, Azerbaijan has begun fortifying positions and digging trenches. These activities are currently taking place near the Vorotan community.
“It should be noted that the situation in the specified directions is being monitored by the Border Troops of the National Security Service of Armenia, and there are no grounds for concern,” stated the NSS.
It is important to recall that yesterday, Goris Deputy Mayor Irina Yolyan posted on her Facebook page to announce that the enemy has started engineering work in Vorotan. She raised alarms about disturbances and threats to the tranquility and peaceful life of the villagers.
