Newly Appointed Official Dismissed from Position at His Own Request

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has dismissed Varazdat Karapetyan from his position as the commercial attaché of the Republic of Armenia in the People's Republic of China. This decision has been published on the official government website.

“Based on clause 10 of the appendix to the decision N 1935-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated December 23, 2004, 1. Varazdat Karapetyan is dismissed from the position of the commercial attaché of the Republic of Armenia in the People's Republic of China,” stated the decision.

Earlier, Varazdat Karapetyan had announced on his Facebook page that he had submitted a request for resignation.
