You All Know Very Well That One Person Says It There. Simonian Does Not Rule Out Possible Meeting with Tsarukyan Today or Tomorrow

I assert that the resolution of the political process must come through elections, as there is no other option in the Republic of Armenia, said Alen Simonian, Vice President of the National Assembly, in a conversation with reporters.

In response to the remark that Nikol Pashinyan was announcing early elections, can we expect consultations to begin and that the government will head to elections through the signing of a memorandum, Alen Simonian replied, “Yes, we can presume that. I am confident that specific steps will also be taken today and tomorrow to realize the statement you pointed out.”

When asked what would happen if the Prosperous Armenia party, for example, does not join, as Naira Zohrabyan claims, Alen Simonian responded, “You all know very well that one person says it there.”

To the next question about whether they have spoken to that one person, Alen Simonian replied, “I do not rule out that such a conversation may happen today or tomorrow. There could be a meeting or another format, but I do not rule it out and I am looking forward to it.”
