It Seems the Dawn at the Supreme Judicial Council Is Not Peaceful Again: Taguhi Tovmasyan to the President of the Supreme Judicial Council

Today, new members have been engaged in the Supreme Judicial Council, and it seems that the dawn is not peaceful again. This was stated by National Assembly member Taguhi Tovmasyan while addressing the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Ruben Vardazaryan, in the National Assembly.

“I would like you to elaborate on what is happening in the Supreme Judicial Council, are you suing each other, or are you not accepting the new member?” asked the parliamentarian.

Ruben Vardazaryan responded that there is a very healthy, constructive atmosphere in the Supreme Judicial Council. “There is no problem with the new members in the Supreme Judicial Council; they participate in the meetings, and if you ask them, they will also confirm that apart from the healthy atmosphere, it is a constructive one,” he said, expressing confidence that further work will also be effective.

Taguhi Tovmasyan noted that legal processes are taking place within the legal Supreme Judicial Council, and the President of the Supreme Judicial Council mentioned that one of the judges has filed a lawsuit against him in the administrative court based on the ground that the President of the Supreme Judicial Council should make a statement regarding the termination of the powers of Gagik Jhangiryan due to the age limit.

“Having such authority, I did not issue that statement, and the administrative court will decide the outcome,” he said.
