I Have the Impression That You Are Completely Disconnected from Reality, Only One Out of 19 Questions Relates to Prisoners: Abovyan

I have the impression that you are completely disconnected from reality, as only one of the 19 questions pertains to prisoners. The rest concern procurements and the Audit Chamber. This was stated today, on March 2, in the National Assembly by Arman Abovyan, the secretary of the Prosperous Armenia faction.

He reminded that the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and the Bright Armenia Party (LHK) called for an extraordinary session to de-escalate the situation, but none of the ruling party members attended the council meeting dedicated to this.

"I do not understand, have you decided that the parliament is a 'My Step' grocery store? What is the problem? Why aren't you coming? Come and discuss. You are tearing yourselves apart from the middle, saying 'let’s ease the tension.' From morning till evening, you are generating tension.

People, it seems like Armenia is living separately with its own pains, while you are trying to generate completely separate agendas. Are you deliberately paralyzing the parliament’s work to ensure that only your agenda is addressed? Do you not see that your agenda is leading to a 'catastrophe'? How are we going to get out of this situation? You say, 'these are our conditions and everyone must move under these conditions.' Who told you that? And who told you that you have the right to set conditions after all this?" Abovyan remarked.
