Staged Videos: Sargsyan on Phone Calls Circulating Online

No authority has ever brought any citizen to a rally, especially not today. This was stated by Hayk Sargsyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction, during a conversation with reporters.

"We have announced that we are gathered today for a memorial event for the victims of March 1. Following that, there will also be a march, and our citizens have shown great desire to come from different regions, organizing themselves to arrive in Yerevan," he said.

He denied rumors that village heads had been given instructions. "I have seen numerous videos of phone calls that I believe are staged; in fact, there is no trust that these are real," he added.

When asked why the 'My Step' faction is now making statements regarding the process of dismissing President Armen Sargsyan, Sargsyan noted, "You should address that question to Vahagn Hovakimyan; I have not studied it yet. Once I do, I will respond." He also mentioned that they are currently discussing the issues of the four-day parliamentary session, as it begins tomorrow.
