Police Urges Not to Succumb to Provocative Actions

In light of the mass events planned for March 1, the police are calling for an unconditional adherence to the law and legality, urging citizens not to succumb to provocative actions, and to avoid irresponsible steps and actions that threaten public order.

“The Police of the Republic of Armenia will ensure the maintenance of public order and public safety within the framework of the powers assigned to it by law and in accordance with its functions. We urge our compatriots to fulfill their civic duty, to exhibit vigilance and restraint, and not to succumb to the temptation of antisocial acts. The police are prepared to take all necessary measures to maintain public safety.

Let us remember that citizens' lawful behavior and cooperation with law enforcement bodies are guarantees for the maintenance of public tranquility and security,” the statement reads.
