Onik Gasparyan Informed of Security Council Meeting but Did Not Attend

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Onik Gasparyan, was informed about the Security Council meeting that took place today.

"Onik Gasparyan was informed about the meeting but did not attend," said Mane Gevorgyan, press secretary to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in a statement to Aysor.am.

President Armen Sarkissian was also invited to the meeting but did not participate. The President's assistant informed the media that Armen Sarkissian is unwell.

Issues related to the external and internal security agenda, challenges, and ways to overcome them were discussed at the meeting.
