‘I Said, This is Your Bread, Fulfill This Point, Win, Lock Me Up for 20 Years. Did They Fulfill It?’: Ohanyan on Meeting with Pashinyan

On October 7, I had a meeting with Nikol Pashinyan in the office of Artsakh President Araik Harutyunyan, former Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan said in a conversation with reporters today. Aysor.am reports this.

“We discussed mobilization issues and also worked with those who fled from the battlefield. I had drafted a main plan of actions on the office desk of the President of Artsakh, that is, a plan to transition the state from peace to war. The 11th point, which states to ensure the prospective replenishment of the army, the restoration of sanitary losses, the replenishment of units of newly forming military units, as well as to propose special one-month or three-month gatherings to be held, I would write that point with different pens every time I entered Araik Harutyunyan's office and said, ‘This is your bread,’” Ohanyan recounted.

He noted that he told Nikol Pashinyan that he came to Artsakh voluntarily, that no one had invited him there, nor could they send him back.
“I said, ‘This is your bread, fulfill this point, win, take me, lock me up for 20 years. Did they fulfill it?’” Ohanyan stated.

The former Minister of Defense emphasized that the Prime Minister said he would fulfill it, but everything continued to be done on the fly, “and that is why we have reached this result.”
