I Do Not Trust the Prime Minister's Spokesperson and Their Statements - Marukyan

Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' parliamentary faction, commented on the Prime Minister's spokesperson's clarification regarding the 'Iskander' issue during a conversation with journalists.

“I do not trust the Prime Minister’s spokesperson and their statements. If a person is the Prime Minister of the country, and they have been informed of something, why haven’t they verified that information through four different sources? Why does he make such statements during an interview? Was there something wrong with the interview; was it recorded, and why was that embarrassing episode for our country not omitted? Now, the Prime Minister wants to pass the 'Iskander' story onto the Chief of the General Staff through his spokesperson,” said Marukyan.
