"Edmon Marukyan's statements are not even subject to discussion; there is a Constitution, and we, as lawmakers, must be responsible for the implementation of that Constitution and not contribute to its violation," said Lilit Makunts, leader of the My Step faction, during a meeting with journalists. She was responding to Edmon Marukyan's proposal that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan should withdraw his suggestion to dismiss the Chief of General Staff.

Commenting on Edmon Marukyan's suggestion that they are ready to sign a memorandum to not nominate a candidate for Prime Minister in Parliament, which would allow for the dissolution of Parliament and the holding of snap elections, Makunts noted that they are prepared to take practical steps regarding Marukyan's proposal.
