Denial: No Turkish Media Outlet Has Submitted a Request to Cover the March 1 Event

No Turkish media outlet has submitted a request for accreditation to cover the March 1 event as of today. This was reported by the Information Verification Center.

One Telegram channel, citing its sources, claimed that the Turkish TRT television station had submitted a request to cover the events taking place in Yerevan on March 1 and received approval from certain government organizations.

In response to the inquiry from the Information Verification Center, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that as of today, no request for accreditation from that media outlet has been received to cover the rally scheduled for March 1 in Yerevan. No similar requests have been received from any other Turkish media outlets either.

It is worth recalling that sources from the Istanbul-based @wargonzo project mentioned that Turkish media outlets had submitted requests to cover the March 1 events in Yerevan and planned to attend Prime Minister Pashinyan’s rally. This refers to the Turkish TRT resource, which also operates in neighboring Georgia.
