Young Girl Struck by Car on Baghramyan Avenue Dies in Hospital

A fatal hit-and-run incident occurred in Yerevan today. Around 8:20 PM, a 31-year-old resident of Yerevan, Tigran Boshyan, struck a girl estimated to be between 20-25 years old with his Mercedes T400 (license plate 11 SS 071) on Baghramyan Avenue, near the former Kamo School, as reported by shamshyan.com.

The driver did not flee the scene; he called for an ambulance through the emergency hotline and assisted the medical team that arrived to transport the injured girl to the Armenia Medical Center. While waiting for traffic police investigators to arrive at the scene, the operational management center of Yerevan’s traffic police received a call from the hospital informing them that the victim had died without regaining consciousness.
