Arsen Torosyan's Father Appointed to Position in the Ministry of Environment

The newly appointed head of the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia, former Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan's father, Gevorg Torosyan, has recently taken up a position in the Ministry of Environment. Torosyan, who previously worked in the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources at the Subsoil Agency, started his new position at the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of the Ministry a month ago.

According to our sources, the high-ranking official's father, who is not particularly enthusiastic about his new job, often engages in political discussions with colleagues at the Center. Recently, he stated that "Nikol will leave sooner or later" and openly expressed that he sees Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan as a potential candidate for Prime Minister. Interestingly, despite his distrust towards the Prime Minister, he has diligently worked on compiling a list of staff for a rally organized by Pashinyan.
