We Demand to Refrain from Making Statements in the Name of the Armed Forces, Not Involving the Army in Political Processes: Ministry of Defense

The Armenian Armed Forces are fully and responsibly fulfilling their functions to ensure national security and, regardless of political processes, continue their service for the security of the state and the people. This was stated by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

“We demand to refrain from making statements in the name of the Armed Forces, not to involve the army in political processes, and not to subordinate national security to personal political interests. Dear compatriots, the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces remain out of politics and will continue their consistent efforts towards the implementation of reforms and modernization in the defense sector,” reads the statement.
