Ararat Mirzoyan Disappears: Why He Wasn't Next to Pashinyan on March 1st

The President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, has seemingly gone missing. On February 25, when Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan decided to hold a march, his team members were by his side, but Mirzoyan and Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan were not present alongside him.

Moreover, the newspaper "Zhogh vorut" noted that not only was Ararat Mirzoyan absent, but also close parliament members to the President of the National Assembly were missing from Pashinyan's side during the march or at the rally location. The situation suggests that Ararat Mirzoyan might have distanced himself from his team.

"Zhogh vorut" attempted to obtain an official clarification regarding Mirzoyan's absence next to Pashinyan. In response, Mirzoyan's advisor Vahan Kostanyan stated, "During that time, he had work meetings, and due to such physical exertion, he might have felt unwell again. There shouldn’t be any political reason seen in this matter."

It is worth recalling that on the evening of November 9, following the signing of the well-known declaration, the President of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, was beaten under calls of 'traitor' and underwent several surgeries.

This information was reported by the newspaper "Zhogh vorut."
