The Meeting Between the President and the Chief of Staff Continues

The meeting between the President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Onik Gasparyan, has been ongoing for about two hours.

As previously reported, President Armen Sarkissian visited the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces around 6:00 PM to meet with Chief of Staff Onik Gasparyan. In response to a question from the news outlet 'Pashininfo', the Presidential office confirmed that the meeting is still in progress.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has proposed to President Armen Sarkissian to dismiss Chief of Staff Onik Gasparyan after the General Staff declared their support for the demand for Pashinyan's resignation. The President has not yet signed the proposal and will announce his position within a three-day period.
