Knife and Metal Knuckle Duster Found on Youth Detained by Metro Police

On February 23, at 8:20 PM, officers from the metro police detained a 20-year-old resident of Papazyan Street in Yerevan, on suspicion of carrying a cold weapon, at the "Barekamutyun" metro station.

In his backpack, a knife with a 10-centimeter blade and a metal knuckle duster were discovered. The cold weapons have been confiscated, and a forensic examination has been initiated.

This was reported by the Armenian Police, who also urged citizens, especially the youth, not to break the law and refrain from carrying firearms and cold weapons in public places.
