Head of YEKM Nor-Nork Territorial Division Resigns in Support of the Army
Aram Poghossyan has resigned from his position as the head of the YEKM Nor-Nork territorial division in support of the army and the nation. This was stated in a press release issued by the organization.
“Aram Poghossyan, head of the YEKM Nor-Nork territorial division and a participant in three wars, spent 40 days on the frontline during the Third Karabakh War, fighting for the protection of the homeland and the nation. He was wounded in the battles for Shushi on November 6 but continued to stay in Artsakh, returning to Armenia only after the signing of the disgraceful capitulation agreement along with his volunteer unit,” the statement noted.
“Since taking office as head of YEKM Nor-Nork territorial division in 2005, he has always acted in favor of the homeland. Never politicizing the division's activities and upholding the ideology of the slogan 'Nation-Army,' Aram Poghossyan has resigned from his position as the head of YEKM Nor-Nork territorial division in support of the army and the nation,” the statement added.
