Aliyev: If Yerevan Does Not Manipulate and Deceive, Baku is Ready to Strengthen Ties with Armenia

Baku is ready to regulate its relations with Yerevan and does not rule out the signing of a peace treaty, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at a press conference for foreign media, as reported by RIA Novosti.

According to him, if "Yerevan does not manipulate and deceive, then Baku is ready to strengthen ties with Armenia." He further stated, "Of course, if everything goes exactly as we expect, we do not exclude the signing of a peace treaty at some stage, since de facto the statement of November 10 (of last year) is essentially a peace treaty."
