According to the Status of Captured Individuals, Our Countrymen in Azerbaijan Are Subject to Return: Baghdasaryan

Aliyev's statement that Azerbaijan has returned all prisoners of war to Armenia is far from reality and baseless. This was stated by Nazeli Baghdasaryan, a member of the 'My Step' faction, on her Facebook page.

She specifically noted, 'Aliyev's claim that Azerbaijan has returned all prisoners of war to Armenia is far from reality and unfounded. Regardless of the status of those captured, our compatriots located in Azerbaijan are subject to return, and we will continue to insist on our approaches in all international instances. Both the Russian Federation, as a signatory party to the statement, and the other co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk Group must examine this statement in light of the circumstances and take immediate necessary measures to ensure the return of Armenian citizens.'

It is noteworthy that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced that Baku has returned 'all Armenian captives,' and only 'terrorists and saboteurs' remain detained.
