Russian President's Website Does Not Indicate Support for Pashinyan; Is the Armenian Government Spreading False Information?
The internet has published images showing that while the Armenian government's website claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his support for Armenia's legitimate authorities, there is no such information on the Russian president's official site.
"The official Kremlin website contains no mention of supporting Armenia's so-called 'legitimate authority.' 'Putin has expressed support for maintaining order and peace in Armenia, as well as for resolving the situation within the framework of the law.' The Russian leader also called on all parties to exercise restraint," states the Russian president's website.
According to protocol, in uncoordinated statements, each side presents the words of their country's leader. The fact that the Armenian government's website has attributed a statement to the Russian president that does not exist on his official website raises grounds to assume that it is simply false information," the channel writes.
