Reports on Arrest Orders for Army Generals Are False

Yerevan – Reports circulating on various platforms and in media outlets claiming that “under the instruction of Nikol Pashinyan, the prosecutor’s office is preparing to sanction the armed groups to enter the Ministry of Defense and arrest Armenian army generals” are not true. This was stated by Gohar Abrahamyan, advisor to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, on his Facebook page.

“The prosecutor’s office is not an executing authority, and there is no such thing at all,” he wrote.
