Phone Conversation Between Ministers of Defense of Armenia and Russia Discussing the Situation in Armenia

At the initiative of the Russian side, a phone conversation took place on February 25 between the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Vagharshak Harutyunyan, and the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General Sergey Shoigu.

The leaders of the defense establishments of the two strategic allied countries discussed the situation in Armenia. During the phone conversation, they also addressed the mission carried out by the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as several other issues of mutual interest.
